Mattch has zero brand affiliations. We recommend mattress specs that fit your body, not specific brands.
How We Recommend
We analyze your sleep position, body type, temperature sensitivity, and pain points to calculate ideal mattress specs (firmness, material, height, cooling). Our algorithm is based on published sleep science research.
Revenue Model
Mattch currently generates no revenue. We plan to monetize through premium detailed reports and sleep coaching. We do not accept affiliate commissions from mattress brands.
What We Never Do
We never accept commissions to recommend specific brands. We never manipulate rankings for advertising fees. We never hide negative test results.
Why I built this
I was upgrading from a twin to a queen when I moved for college. In my budget range — student budget, online-only — I couldn't test a single mattress in a showroom.
Every listing claimed "#1 seller" or "#1 rated." None of that told me whether it would actually fit my body. I eventually narrowed it down to three candidates with help from an AI, but each brand described its specs in a different format, so I couldn't compare them objectively.
I picked the one with the best internals for the price. It took me two weeks. When it arrived, the mattress labeled "medium" felt as firm as the "hard" I'd tried briefly in a showroom. The product itself is well-built — it just doesn't fit my body. I bought it on a no-returns marketplace, so I'm now sleeping on a topper I bought to compensate.
The one thing I learned: brand, price, and materials all matter less than whether it fits your body.
I built Mattch so nobody has to repeat my two weeks. The longer-term goal is to standardize how mattress specs are reported across brands, so they can actually be compared.
I'm a Korean student building this solo — feedback on regional details I might have missed is especially welcome.
